The Town of Halton Hills is seeking proposals for qualified proponents to undertake a detailed analysis and mapping to determine the potential location and extent of existing opportunities for land-based renewable energy in Halton Hills. This will include a technical analysis of available technologies, land use, funding and partnership opportunities; public consultation to identify potential impacts of projects and build public support for land-based renewable energy; and, the development of a local policy framework and implementation plan, including an evaluation of financial impacts for the Town, to capture opportunities for land-based renewable energy. |
