The Town of Halton Hills is requesting tenders for the supply of asphalt material, only.

In order to be considered a responsive bid, the Bidder must meet the following mandatory requirements.  Bids not meeting one of more of the following mandatory requirements will be disqualified.

1. Halton Hills staff will be responsible to pick-up the Asphalt at the plant location.  The  Plant location where the product will be picked up must be within a 45-minute travel time on Regional Roads from the Robert Austin Operations Centre, located at 11620 Trafalgar Road, Halton Hills, L7G 4S4. 

   NOTE: The supplier’s facility must be within a 45‑minute driving time of the specified location, as measured using a commonly available mapping application (e.g., Google Maps) during normal business hours, Monday to Friday, between 7:30 am and 3:30 pm.  Travel on Toll Roads (e.g. 407 ETR) is not acceptable and will not be considered when determining the travel time. 

    

2. Both hot and cold mix asphalt must be available for pick up by Town Staff twelve (12) months a year at this location. (ie. Asphalt location meeting requirement in item a) above).

The Town is unable to expand the time limit due to compounded costs, risks, and time constraints associated with transportation.

All vendors shall have a Bidding System vendor account and be registered as a plan taker at  https://haltonhills.bidsandtenders.ca for this RFT which will enable the Vendor to download the RFT, to receive addenda/addendum email notifications, download addenda and to submit their Tenders electronically through the Bidding System.
